Boost guage relocation???

I am about to begin fabrication on some custom a-pilars for 3way component speakers going in my SS. Has anyone relocated the boost guage, if not any recomendations on where it might could be moved?

I did this on my Cobalt.

I think it should be feasible on an HHR, I don't recall seeing it done. Someone could chime in and correct me.

Find a spare one of these on the cheap and see what you can do. I may just beat you to it

Interceptors are shallow gauges. I had dual Interceptors. I don't know how much room the HHR cluster bezel would allow, but it would be interesting to find out. The boost gauge is electrical, but it is still rather deep. Probably about 2 inches or so.

My car came stock with the RPD. I wasn't going to pay GM what they wanted for their A-pillar for a gauge so I fabbed up my own. One of these days I'll get it out for paint.....along with the top of the dash and the waterfall.

I did the cobalt pod setup for my boost and wideband gauges ( check my gallery for pics ). Very easy to build, just used 2" PVC for the pods, then molded em into the trim panel with epoxy
