Went to take the only 5-speed SS left in the area for a test drive. Black witht the Black/Red interior....looks SICK!!!! They gave me a $20 gas voucher to put some gas in it so I put in the good stuff. I can feel that the car really want to move. I get about 3 miles from the dealer on side streets heading for the Parkway so I can put it through the gears and the engine light goes on. So, I pull into a shopping center parking lot, shut it off and call the dealer. When I go to start it again it won't even try to turn over. They had to send a tow truck for the SS and made me ride in it back to the dealer. THEY WOULDN'T EVEN SEND A CAR FOR ME! bastards. An hour I had to wait. Needless to say I was livid. Stay away from the NEW ROCHELLE, NY CHEVY DEALER.

Anyway, was this a freak thing? Anyone else having problems? I really like the car but the test got me kinda down.

 

Go to another dealer, these things are well worth the money! When you look as price to power or price to utility you are in good shape either way.

Wow, sorry to hear that... That is really unlikely that something like that would happen. Very poor judgement by the dealership on how to treat a prospective customer!

Try another dealer and vehicle, you won't be disappointed! 12K miles on mine now without any problems at all. Very happy with this fantastic vehicle!

 

Just find another dealer. Then buy it. The perma-smile is hard to get rid of

 

I got mine from Beck Chevy across opposite the yonkers race track on 87
They treated me pretty good there
