Bye bye HHR, it was fun! (when you were working) lol
Hmm... I hope you didn't trade one set of problems for another. My TB has never failed to start and get me where I'm going, but its been the most expensive vehicle to maintain that I've ever owned. Lots of little problems, especially with the electronics on the 4wd. Compared to my HHR which has only had a couple of small issues.
Just returned on a round trip from NJ to NH, and averaged over 31 MPG, even despite having three people in the HHR SS with luggage, etc. The TBSS is sweet looking, but I would pay through the nose for gas since I drive 22K miles a year.
Got the RWD, AWD has to many problems and drinks even more gas. I originally was looking at the TBSS when they came out, but because of budget had to settle on the HHRSS. So, all said and done, the deal worked out pretty well.
You should enjoy what you drive and if you have to worry about gas, just remember how much you paid for that stupid bottle of water or that Starbucks Latte, LOL. It's way more then a gallon of gas!

Turbo/supercharge the TB-SS and then you'll have more power and better mpg.
Congrats on the new ride!! Looks pretty nice!
Is it brand new or a year or two old? Either way, it's nice. I wouldn't mind one... except for the gas bills... but if it works out for you, then why not. Probably will be better in the snow and more room and towing power if you need it.
It's a heavy beast....in AWD it's curb weight is near 5Klbs....400hp to move that is nice...but not speedy. Of course you can dump money into making the LS2 become one of the more potent LSx series engines...but mainly, it's a heavy vehicle. They are nice in snow.....but the wallet will hurt.
I also downsized from my 20.1 avg mpg GMC Envoy to my 30.1 avg mpg HHR-SS. I'm very happy. The TB-SS will be lucky to have 13 avg mpg, it's like my Z71.

But in a off the line drag race my HHRSS still took it. Easily.
