Can someone rebuild this SS

I found this gem on the internet. I am not selling this car but it looks like a pretty good deal $8700. Just thought someone might want an SS for cheap.

My own general rule is: if the car was worth rebuilding then the seller would have done so already. In the case of this HHR, the obvious damage doesnt look like much, just bumpers and a fender. That would be an easy money maker for most shops. Im guessing the unibody is probably twisted significantly or the drivetrain is trashed.

Unibody is twisted, look at the drivers door alignment....... I'd say the firewall/strut tower got dinged hard....... Still "fixable" but would it be right?

Was this declared as totalled? If not, wouldn't the insurance company insist on a repair? Or did the owner not have a loan on the vehicle?

Definately needs to be look at it in person. Sometimes the damage is alot worse than they show, but everynow and then it is not that bad.

Every car i own, except for my HHR has been totaled and rebuilt. I wouldn't hesitate to take a look at it, alot of salvage yards will wheel and deal on price or parts making it an even better deal. To bad its not a little closer...

MAN that thing looks jacked up.
I'd say it's more suited for parts
