I have Weather Tech in channel window deflectors, they fit great, blend in with the dark windows nicely

not sure if anybody else had this issue..but i have the weathertech in channels and they scratched the tops of my windows. The top of the window rubs on the visor when it rolls up/down. And i wanted to tint my front windows but cannot due to the scratches and the visors.

The visers are in the outside, the tint is on the inside

So that would be grit in the window channel itself

Skyline26, I had the same issue. Mine only had 25K on it when I got it. It already had the guards installed when I bought it. First thing I did was remove them (being 6'1", they blocked my view).

The tops of my windows look like crap. Exactly as you've described...and to confirm, they are scratches. Some deep enough to catch a fingernail in.

NOT acceptable in my book.
