Chevrolet website update...
AN UPDATE!!! "Build and Price" information is now available for 2008 HHR's, BUT, there are still no price or model information updates for the HHR SS. I noticed that there is a "solid rear quarter panel" option available. Are there more updates on the way? Is it just me, or have the prices dropped? I just priced out a 2LT and noticed that the total price is $3000 cheaper than the same thing in 2007.
Good news! Complete 2008 HHR & HHR SS information should be up on the Chevrolet website within the next week! I e-mailed Chevrolet about the HHR SS info sign up page not working, as well as the lack of website updates on the 2008 models. Here is Chevrolet's official response:
Dear Mr. Jensen,

That's the good news, the fact that the website may be updated within the next week. However, I think the bad news is the strike is going to delay the launch. If the strike lasts a week, then the launch might be affected by the same or more, just my guess.
thanks for the update though I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm not ready to buy one until spring at the earliest so just when they launch it doesn't make a hell of a difference to me...
