part of this seems kinda directed at my statement, so i'll clarify my reason for posting what i did. i was in no way trying to cause confusion between the SS/SC and SS/TC. on the first page a couple people mentioned wondering why some people still say (not in this thread) that the trans is different between the HHR SS and SS/TC Cobalts. that was expressly the comment i was going after. might have been better if i quoted it, sorry. you've been very clear in your talks about the two, and i (and hopefully others) are not in confusion over what you have been saying. (for clarification) the two turbo models have the same trans, with different gearing, same clutch/flywheel. the SC is different, so no one should bother lookin at those parts for our cars.

 

Turbo tech has nothing I called today and they make nothing for the 2.0L Turbo-Charged motors

 

I found a site a month ago on the Clutches for the Cobalt SS TC but can't find it. Call SPEC Clutches and ask them

Yeah so what does this actually mean... well I'm waiting on his reply I told him 400-500 H/P. We'll see what he replies with....I'm assuming Camaro you have used his clutches before? If so whats the price range?

 

I have friends with his SPEC 3 Clutch and putting 700 PLUS RWHP down. I've only heard good things from people using Spec clutches. Im sure our wimpy 2.0 engine will be an easy accomplishment. :)_

One of my friends works at spec. I've been talking to him about a clutch, but he had to go to SEMA, Willow button,and Irwindale. I think he will be back this week.
