I was picking up my SS from the dealer yesterday and was invited by my salesman to come check out the Cobalt SS on Saturday. Has anyone seen it already? I am interested in checking it out. I will try and get some photos.

 

saw the cobalt ss and a presentation on it. It is sweet but rather have a HHR SS for the cargo room The one I saw was a Manufactor car so it had brembo brakes and also the cobalt ss has no hoodliner because of fitment issue.

 

I have seen 2 Cobalt SS Turbo Sedans here in Socal over the last 2 weeks.

 

Pretty sure the Sedans don't come out til 09.

I know we asked the Gm performance engineer giving presentation on why dont the HHR and Cobalt SS was fitment issue against airbox and other items but yet people are putting hoodliner on the HHR SS

 

I think its more of a heat issue IMHO but who knows

 

I bet it is a money issue (save $ make $)

 

Am i missing something here... The Cobalt SS has been out for a couple years now. Did they do a make over or something?

 

Those people are not serious about performance.
