Talking Current Incentives!!! Quite Attractive!!!

Just received an email from GM Supplier about the additional $1000 rebate in addition to the $1000 already on the table for the HHR SS. After reading in another thread here that this rebate starts today, so comes the email. So I went to the Supplier site and with the AT, total savings comes to just over $3000, with the 5 spd, it was around $2800 plus. Of course need to find a dealer who will do supplier with the discounts, now may be the time to do it, even without the Brembo brakes. The only option I do not see is the LSD which adds the $495 to the list. Now if someone is interested in my '07 G5 with 7000 highway miles, I might just have an SS in the garage before the end of the month......

Best rebate I could come up with is $2000. However word is that $1000 of it is only good for 2 weeks. Presidents Day Special.

Yes, that is true, this rebate ends on the 29th, but if you can find a dealer who will do supplier, you also will get about another $1000 in savings, which brings the total to $3000, give or take a few dollars, depending on whether you get the Auto or 5 spd. Just called a dealer who has 2, and he will also take supplier, so we shall see, need to make a decision on either the Vibe or
G5 to sell, or trade if I want to.

What is "supplier" I had to tell my dealer about the SS and the recent $1000 rebate, they knew nothing of it? If I can get another $800 to $1000 that would be sweet. Looking for a 5 speed

We just sealed the deal today on a 2008 Black SS with auto and LSD for my wife. With the 2 $1000 GM incentives, and the dealers discounted price, we just couldn't pass it up. Flying to N.J. Saturday and driving it back to N. Carolina.

GM Supplier discount, alot of companies get this because of their involvement with GM in one way or another. Find out if your company offers this discount. Sometimes dealers will even give you supplier pricing without being a GM Supplier employee. Just ask, you never know. As far as the recent rebates, go to Chevy.com and look up current incentives from where you live, it will give you all of the info.

Sounds great, if you don't mind posting, what was your final price from the dealer? Have a safe ride back to NC, you will have to give us a detailed report with pics, when you return....
