Did my Aeroforce Gauge now
Thanks, but someone already provided the part number information earlier in this thread. Sounds like you might have benefitted from using that info... instead, you get to satisfice your way into a black bezel or pay to return the part you didn't order.
Here's one of my favorites...

Now what ever your order you will enjoy it and be happy with it. The picture will not be you after you get it. [Got one smiling?] You will need tit to show how you feel about what you bought.
As for the rest of this line of though lets move it on as it will help no one if this is close as MGR has said.
Quick review
After playing with mine today I am glad I went with the red and black as they are easy to read in the bright sun or dark. Anyone who also owns a Pontiac will feel comfortable with them.
Also unless you like the silver or chome I would recomend the black rim due to the lack of reflection in the windsheild. The HHR has a glare spot from the Autometer Boost guage that looks like a smudge in the glass on a sunny day. The black eliminated it.
I may hook up the oil pressue unit next. It should be easy to adapt it in on one of the extra imputs.
Note the fuel pressure. It is amazing what pressures they run with Direct injection.
The speedo is handy since the SS speedo is a pain to read. Also the shift lights are very effective.
If they ever make some pods that fit the HHR I may add another at a later time.
I have not run the performance settings yet but hope to tomarrow.
The set up and install on this is so easy it is crazy. I have worked in the performance aftermarkert for 15 years and can say this is on of the best things to come along in years. I even like it better than the one from MSD.
If anyone is thinking about getting one stop thinking and just buy it as you will not be sorry.
I passed on a 09 when I got a super price on a 08. I was a little upset I would not have the performance dash. But now that I have this I have don't miss it a bit. In fact I have more options and still have my storage. It is a win win with this product.

did you have to remove the a pillar trim. does it just pop off. does the gauge unscrew from the outside.
sounds like a great tool. if your performance is ever in question
just keep records of how the numbers change over time.
thx dave

All you have to do [this is a non Airbag model]
Pop off the oval cover at the top on the pillar trim. It is hooked at the bottom.
remove the bolt under it.
Then pull the cover off at the top and it has a snap clip under it midway down.
Then once the clip is free pull up and out of the dash.
You will have two plugs for the speaker and boost guage to unhook.
To remove the guage is to remove two nuts washers and one spacer. Save these to reinstall the boost if you choose at as later time.
Stick a wire down from the top and hook you Aeroforce harness to it and pull it to the top.
Bolt in the Aeroforce gauge with the bracet and two nuts that came with it. Make sure you have it turned to the direction you feel comfortable with.
Reinstall the trim cover.
Plug in the meter and hide the extra wire under the dassh by coiling it and using a wire tie to tie it to the under side of the dash.
Now your ready to start and program the meter.
Read the instruction before you start and it all make sense as you program it.
One extra note I had the sun at a low angle last night and it will wash out the display a litte You can read it but it loses it's color. Not a big issue but I though I should mention it.
The Boost is electric just as the Autometer guage.
You do have two Analog ports to plug in thinks like Oil pressure, a secondary A/F sender etc. But these are strictly optional.
