Do I need a new master cylinder??
From what I remember, there are two vertical studs sticking out of the inner fender , you have to remove the nuts.
Then you remove the ECM/TCM which is in front of the fuse box. This allows you access to the 2 (or 3) bolts under the fuse box behind where the ECM was.
Then you can move the fuse box. You can't move it a lot, because the wiring harnesses still limit travel. You may have to remove the + and - cables at the top corners of the fuse box.

This might help, from when I replaced my engine.

Well, I wish I had figured it out as then I could have done a write up. I only have one car and the blocks are at the shop and I'm trying to minimize driving so it goes to someone else tomorrow. I can afford that, but it should have been a hour job at most and then I would have bled it tomorrow when the new bleeder tool showed up. I should just give up working on modern cars. My last two were a 65 ford van and a 1980 Triumph TR8, both were reasonable to work on.
So the car finally works again. The show replaced the MC and all the pads but when I picked it up, same problem. They kept it another day replaced the MC again and still same problem. Since the only part left that could cause the problem was the Anti-lock box and they could not get one I took it as is. But I'd been wondering what might happen if I tried to lock up the brakes and activated the ABS. So I waited till no one was behind me and pushed really hard. About when the pedal hit the floor the ABS finally activated. And wonder of wonders, the brakes returned to normal. I will pay closer attention and more importantly, ask my wife to pay better attention. Also, I will start replacing the fluid quite a bit more often than I have been.
