I'll set-up each monitor to cycle thru a different set of selection options, but just off the top of my head, I'd like to digitally display boast, temperature (water, oil, intake air?), mph (since I can't see the standard gauge), knock retard, HP, rpm - hmmm, I might need a third gauge

Should have pics of the finished product later this week, if I don't mess up the painting
Nice sounds very cool. I had no idea there was that many options.

Pod finished and installed, just played with but haven't set-up display. Pillar itself has been smooth (since I couldn't match the original textured finished). Colour (Cdn Spelling) now a flat black to match the dash, not a fan of the two tone grey and black (headliner will also be changed to black). Need to go back and aling the gauges (slightly tilted) but anxious to see how it looked.

I have two white - SS logo'd face plates that I'll be giving away, will ping a couple of Canadian members (easier to mail to them) to see if there is interest, otherwise will post in the classified.

That looks pretty good! I like the fact that you came up with the idea and went after it. Now be a sport and ship the whole thing to me in Waterbury, CT lol.

you can get "grain pattern paper" in dashboard repair kits. i tried to find some without the whole kit but couldnt.

it could help you get close to the factory look

a dash kit is about $10. permatex makes one

I already had the fibreglass, resin and bondo, but if you had to purchase these, maybe $30 (only need a wee bit of it). Paint (rattle can) $10 and some sandpaper, another $5. I had to purchase a large wax candle, $6 that I carved into the desired shape and used as a mold. So for materials you'd be hard pressed to spend much more than $50.

The real cost s the gauges themselves. They sell for $250 each or $400 for two. Check out http://www.aeroforcetech.com/ - so total maybe $450.

If you check out the site, you'll see the colour options that are available, I think the choices are blue, red, green and white. Display is also reversible (i.e coloured display/black background or coloured background/black display)

If you decide to tackle it or want more information I have pictures I took along the way (a basic pictorial how-to) and can share lessons I learned.

I can't really say that I'd want this set-up over my RPD (the gauges themselves are kind of plain, and pricey to boot), but I give you a lot of credit for creating something that looks damn near factory. Not my thing, but excellent work, nonetheless...color me impressed! If you decide to mass-produce I think it's safe to say you'll have some interested parties for sure.
