Well it depends on how good your dealer is, I bought a new Silverado a few years back and It never had a window sticker. Well I kept bugging them about it, and finally I gave them my vin # and they came up with the window sticker and the COMPLETE build sheet for the truck. Just ask, they might or might not help you, it just depends.

As another has suggested......

Bug your dealer, if you purchased new. Federal law provides the dealer must not remove the sticker.....although many dealers do and I never heard of any being prosecuted. But I would use the law as leverage and REMIND them, in the event the dealer is uncooperative.

If you purchased used from a dealer, all you can do is ask. They do pay a nominal fee for them and probably would be subrogated to you.

 

Dealers usually remove them when they prep the cars during sale. I always got mine in the package of paperwork, including the owners manual, etc.

 

Did you buy it new? If not I think it's too late for a dealer to pull it up in their system. You can call one and ask.

I can send you a build sheet, but it will not have pricing and it will not look like a window sticker.

 

No I did not buy it new, just purchased it about 3 weeks ago, it would be great to have the build sheet. I have purchased several used vehicles over the years and in most cases was able to get a window sticker for them, and was hoping that I would be able to get one for this vehicle also.
