Fan Module went out on my 2009 HHr SS they have redesigned this part and it will not work or fit. Why was I not informed about this change? Being a owner of said car.

????? Haven't heard about a redesign or the part not working. I'm sure there is more than 1 supplier for this module, so maybe it is just an incorrect part that you got. You may want to double check your part number.

As far as being informed about this. By who? The parts supplier is an independant manufacturer. Not sure how they would go about personally notifying all the SS owners.

My module went out at 100,000 and I replaced the whole fan assembly(module included) for about about 175.00 (OEM) through a dealership on line. It took about 30 min. to remove old and install new.
