Fe5 struts

I'm having trouble finding any information on where to get replacement struts for the SS, is there any cross compatibility with the Cobalt or what are my options in regards to getting new quick struts

There are no FE5 quick struts.

as you see in this screen shot the AC Delco FE5 struts left and right are listed at RockAuto

The struts are the same for Cobalt and HHR, but they are bare struts, not quick struts.

No there isn’t, either rent or buy spring compressor for Macpherson struts

Don't be scared of the springs; a $10 compressor is very safe. No need for a wall mounted hydraulic machine. Borrow from the local big box parts store.
