I finally saw another SS on the road. I was about an hour from home out at my parents and when I stopped to get gas at Chevron a Blue Flash Metallic SS was pulling out the other side as I pulled in. He didn't see me which was good because his was clean and shiny and mine was all dusty from parking in the dirt at a concert sat night, LOL

 

I still havent seen one but I have seen two cobalt SS/TC

 

there are 3 all within a 5 mile radius by me....and they are all black!

 

I haven't seen another yet either, but Saturday I parked next to a Yellow Cobalt SS at a karate meet.

i guess the dealership i bought mine at sold one other one but i've never seen it.
when they found mine for me, it was the only one within 500 kms

 

Still waiting for the SS Panel to become available. I'm excited!

 

I saw one on Saturday, black like mine and with the smoked out headlights. I was going the speed limit and he thought I must be g@y for doing such an injustice to this vehicle (even though, my family was in the car). Or he wanted to prove something and race me...

He zoomed by and I waved , but he just grimaced . My only thought was if a cop spots him and starts to pull out and I go by he might get me for speeding and how do you convince a cop that it was another Black HHR SS that looks just like mine, who was speeding?

Luckily, he tore off like he just ate Mexican and was looking for a rest stop.

It's funny how people react to seeing someone with the same taste, some get offended or want to compete, while others want to offer congratulations on a great choice in life.

My thought was, why race, we have the same car, I mean of course my vent visors and emblem decals (that he was lacking), clearly made my car faster, but why prove it?
