A Finished Photo of my Winter Wheels

I finally got my tires on and my trim rings striped.

These are 215-50-16 Goodyear Triple tread Assurance on 07 Wheel Vintique wheels with Repo 49 Chevy center caps. I painted the rims and cleared them with PPG and used a short street rod trim ring and added a red pintripe on the out side edge.

I may cut some red inlays for the bow ties.

Once I put these on my Black SS I will post a new photo.

Put a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks on them and you'll go through snow like cake. Nice look, though.

Thanks everyone.

After 4 tough snow belt winters, a street the city fails to plow and almost 50,000 mile I have great faith in the Goodyears. Wet traction is also outstanding.

I feel if you can push snow with the front airdam and not get hung up the tires are doing their job! The OE Comp TA were ok but were wore out at 20,00 miles with my wife driving.

Besides my father is retired from Goodyear and with the present rebate from the Tire Rack and my Goodyear discount I picked these up for $70 each. They should last me 6-8 winters.

Our snow hits at or just after Thanksgiving. I hate to put them on any sooner as I like the look of the stock SS wheels the best.

If I get some time I may stick two on just to see how they look. If I do I will get pictures and post them.

Don't go to any hassle for us, but when you've got the time let us get some looks in. I am also in the market for winter tires/wheels and not sure which route I want to go yet.
