I have these same rims (except mine are slotted) and they are actually really good quality. I haven't had them on through the winter yet but fore see no issues. But like is mentioned above get the trim rings over chrome plating. It will last longer without rusting and pitting.

 

They held up just fine. I took them off waxed them and they are waiting for next November.

If you get them powder coated or have a good paint job put on they should hold up as well as any other factory steel rally wheel.

Note all the trim is stainless so rust should not be an issue.

The tires were great and did not effect my handling in any great noticable way in normal driving. I did lose a little turn in and extreem cornering since they are small ter with tires.

Other wise this combo was like a tank in the snow. I did not have any issue driving even on my street often when the city had now plowed. kit. Also tire wear was minimal so they should last for years to come.

All I can say is "WOW" ! Unless handling is a major factor in the non winter seasons you should consider rolling those 24/7/356 !

 

The first thing I thought too was a old cop car from a Bogart movie. LOL!

Handling is not a big issue in normal driving. It is just a bit less than the Michelins. They are crap to start with in traction.

As for looks I am ok for the winter but I still perfer the Forged factory wheel look. GM just did a great choice of wheel from the factory for this car in not only look but size.

I put the stripes and cust the red bow ties on after I got it painted. I needed something to break up the black a little.

It came out better than I expected.

I almost painted the wheels red but that would have been too much red with a black wall tire and I don't do white walls.

 

Now all you need is wide-whites...
