Flooded Car for sale on eBay
You guys are too funny. What can you actually buy for $10,250 in todays maketplace that is a performance model vehicle? And please don't list examples of a corvair spyder or a VW turbo, I mean please. Don't concern yourself with the fact the it was resting in water for two weeks either as I can site many examples of how nothing has happened to vehicle in the same case senerios for for up to 5 years or more. And if your thinking long long term look at what people pay for a rusted out shell of a car just so they can have the ability to either restore it or use it for parts. Here is a car that will easily become someones daily driver (and for cheap) and will eventually be sold to the next person to use up. (No further reply from me on this subject)
Proof?
Many of you guys don't seem to realize what kind of unseen damage water can do down the road.
The car must be sold with salvage title for a reason.
The bottom line is that anyone who buys this vehicle is taking a risk (a fairly large one in my opinion), and it sure isn't one that I would take for that kind of money.
Minor water damage?

You are probably a real cool guy. I am not bragging as much as I am complaining, but I have been in the automobile repair business for 45 YEARS and your car probably won't be here in 12 to 15 more years either. Just think of some of the cars that you owned and most of them are gone. It's part of the cycle and no big deal. These are expendable, completely. They get used and discarded for the most part. 10K for one of the last read hodrod cars produced in the USA is CHEAP.
You are probably a "real cool guy" too. lol
Having said that, if they are using the car for parts or doing a complete teardown/one-of-a-kind build up then they could have a good base. Would be great if they are/come one to this site - would be nice to see/follow what they do with it
Regarding the auction itself: The way bidder 7***1 was involved just doesn't "feel right"
