since this thing broke after less than 30 days, i'm pretty disappointed.

Not sure I want to get a new one.

I'll probably go with something to just hold the plate, but out of the way of the IC...just not sure how

I wish I could help but other than a stock mount their is just nothing out there I have found.

I know the manual mount the Vette guys were mounting them off to the side to keep the lower grill open on their cars. It looks a little odd up but that is ablut all I know of.

The rules are mounted to the bumper and visable. Not hinged. The one we had was not 100% Legal but if the cops could see it most were fine.

I would just get the manual one and just put it up when ypu want it and down when you don't that is about all I can think of. They are cheaper.

Find out what is broke and talk to Phil as he should make it right. Also it may just be some dumb thing like the wire pulled off the motor plug. IF the pull tie is not tight it could happen.

I just missed Phil, but I spoke with Greg,

He said to send it back and they'll send out a new one. He said they've made about 800 of them and I'm the 2nd person to call about this, but the first guy hit a curb with his

I last I spoke to Phil he said they have not had any problems so far. I asked about winter weather and ice effecting the motor and he said as long as the track is clear it should be ok.

The main thing with them is not to hold the button more than 30 sec after it is up or down.

At least if you don't want to use the new one you can e bay it.

If I see anything different I will let you know.

Hey wanted me to send in my broken one, before he would send out a new one...that sort of ticks me off

THEIR product broke, and I have to pay for shipping and run w/o a front plate until they get me a new one...wtf

Call the guy at Styling you bought it from and make them replace it.

That is what I we would do where I work. The retailer is the one who normally takes care of these things if you want shipping covered.

MFG seldom cover anything but the part. Some don't even do that.
