some kid in a honda accord was trying to race me from light to light yesterday. at first i just let me do what he wanted, got to the 3rd light and decided to let him take off then i gunned it, it was like passing a bicycle. i could see the look of shock on him when i passed. i didnt see V6 badge on it so ill assume it was a 4 banger, man those accord 4s are freaking SLOW. i think it was 05 accord, i guess?? looked like this...

the main diffrence I think is that with a FWD your pulled, RWD your pushed, our little SS's are fast, but because it's FWD you don't get that major G-rush like a RWD car of the same performance....... XXL, or Andy from ADM could you chime in on this, I am going upon assumption, clarity would be cool

I have been seeing the word ricer being thrown around alot. Coming from the honda/acure/import world (integra was stolen the day my SS showed up at the dealer) do not to underestimate some of those rides. Ive seen 12 second hondas that look like they had been rusting in a barn for the last 4 years. And they do it with smaller horsepower numbers...those guys love spanking on some domestics too...i know i sure did. But for the record, the SS is more fun to drive then my acura was...i do miss her though.

I came from a Sentra SE-R SpecV, so I know better than most that there is a difference between an import driver and a ricer. Whether or not you're a ricer has nothing to do with how fast your car is. I've seen ricers with 11 second cars. I've seen people with Camaros and GTO's that I'd refer to as ricers. It's about the style and quality with which you build your ride.

If you're not a ricer, you shouldn't be offended by the usage of the word. I know I wasn't, so I am not.

Agreed, it is a "lifestyle".

I was rocking the teg, an '85 c10, and the hhr, but man gas was killed in that c10 so i had to let her go...9 mpg just werent cutting it....so i replaced her with a harley davidson...

The car i traded in for the SS was a 00 civic that i had a b18c swap in and i ran a 12.8 in. I do miss the car but i love the SS. It would b kind of hard to drive around a kid in the civic with it bouncing on the coilovers ... There is definately some fast imports out there. But hey to each theyre own. The sad thing is that no matter what you have done to your car there is always someone faster than you
