Garage door broke last night!

Unhappy Garage door broke last night!

this morning i come out and notice the wire hanging there didnt think nothing of it.i back out and run over the big spring that helps it go up, and im thinking to myself i bet that thing slamed into my car! well it smacked it pretty good i got some scratches and chips! and to think that the garage is supposed to be a safe place lol..i should be freaking out right now but trying to stay calm....

Yeah, they should put somekind of warning label or something!!

Sorry to hear aboutthe bad news. However, now is the time to install that back up camera. Tell the wife...... If you had it before, this would have never happened.

yeah that would be cool the damage is not that bad about 5 scratches down to the primer and about 3 nail head chips not sure to go through the insurance with a 250 deductable or what..

If you decide to take it in and get it repainted/fixed it will cost plenty more than that. I got a scratch on the front bumper and was going to get it rixed. Removed sand and repaint. Three estimate anywhere from 280 up to 700! This was just a little five inch long scratch in the bumper too.

damn didnt think it would cost that much i guess i am going to get them out here then so they can see the garage door for the damage

Yeah, you think it will be a quick little fix and then BANG. The price of auto refinishing is just skyrocketing, wish I would have stayed with it and gotten my degree to have a shop.

this sucks my house caught on fire 3 weeks ago and did a claim and now i am doing it again lol i will see if homeowners is better to thanks for the help
