If you have a true SS, it is turbocharged as the others have stated. The underhood layout will be similar to this picture.
The blue arrows show the upper charge piping. The yellow arrow points to the turbo location behind and below the air filter housing.
(my housing has been repainted. The normal color is gray/silver)

Me too, that really does need to be explained for all of us.

 

Supercharged are belt driven most turbo use air flow is short explanation. It forces more air into the engine for better performance
