Thanks for all the replies. I still haven't got to drive one yet. I drove to the nearest one, but it was gone. The other one was a 6 hour roundtrip and didn't have all the features I wanted, so I couldn't make myself waste a day on a car I knew I wouldn't buy. I'm looking every day for another one close by.

So, if what you're saying was true, then none of the auto trans. SS folks would have the performance seat.
I'm pretty sure there are folks out there with performance seat(s) and automatic trans. In fact, I saw one just last week.
What I meant was with the 5 Speed manual.

when you drive one you wont be disappointed! I came from Subaru wrx's to one of these in auto and I love it! wish I had the 5 spd but the auto is just as fun, plus auto's have auto start feature which is great in the cold months. If you want a nice one check out the panel on ebay right now, 5spd, low miles, and alot of factory warranty left. panel's are rare only like 200+ made, think half panels are just as rare.
2010's have the RPD in the dash which is kinda cool feature too

According to this listing I think I have the Performance seats. They certainly are comfortable. And I have an Automatic.

Seats, front bucket, Premium Cloth with UltraLux GM Performance Division, high bolster seatback, extended length seat cushion, SS embroidery and color-keyed accents, includes 60/40 split-folding rear seat

The Performance seat/s are an individual option, and in the 08's you only got the driver performance seat. 09's and above I believe came with both. My 08 has only the driver one, that's the only way I could order it at the time. (Jan 08). The easiest way to identify is the PS has a square and flat panel bottom cushion which is longer than the round humped standard seat. It also has a performance tag on the edge stitching. PS, it is more comfortable for my long legs, but would not be a deal killer if it didn't have it in my opinion.

Just to add. In 2010, the performance seats were standard(both seats)
And there were no tags on the 2010's edge stiching. (pretty sure about being tagless. I know my 2010 doesn't have tags.)
