Yeah, that's going to be a tough one for the insurance adjuster. Four doors, roof panel, quarters, fenders, hood, and liftgate. Sometimes they'll do it if the car is brand new, otherwise they'll just total it out if it's in a storm zone. Either way, pray for a total because even with a clean repair you'll never get any money out of it once the roof and quarters are cut off.

I'm serious....those pics don't even begin to show the damage If a car literally had 1000 dings (and we've counted, it's in that range), how much do you think a reputable paintless repair shop would charge, I'm just curious. I know the last time I had 3 door dings pulled it was in the $250 range (but obviously some of the door has to be disassembled, etc. to get behind the dings). Thanks.

There's also alot of plastic that has damage too (grill, hood trim, mirrors, rocker sills)
I've done it thousands of times. I've repaired cars with several hundred dents per top panel and a whole lot bigger than those. As for price I can't say with out seeing the car. I talked to John last night. He told me he hasn't seen any that wasn't repairable. I doubt they will total your car. It looks well under $10000 in body shop damage. So when you take it to the body shop be prepared for the to cut the roof off and replace it or fill the roof full of body filler. It's your car and your choice so don't let the insurance company push you around. I would rather have the factory paint myself.

That happened to my 2006 HHR LT aobut 1-1/2 years ago. Took it to the body shop and they used a vacuum device that some dent specialists have, and pulled all of the dents back out without having to repaint the car. Can't even begin to tell it had hail damage. Cost the insurance company about $2,300 though.

Don't forget something as small as a door sill also, possiblity of it being cut by ice just a thought.
