Good price for an 09 hhr ss?

I am new to the forum, and thinking about the ss for a 50 mile commute in nj. Found an 09 ss, manual, brembos, LSD. Black/black. About 12 kmiles. Cam get it for $14000 at a dealer, plus around 600 to have it certified. Is this a fair price? The first thing want to do after I get t is lower the seat and add an armrest. Let me know what you think.

I think that's a great price for a used o9 with that milege. You can add the arm rest, there is a how to in the forum.

Certify it and pick up the extra bumper to bumper. Do the GM turbo upgrade to work with the 100k drivetrain coverage but be advised you will need to run 91-93 octane.
Go for the smiles per gallon.
The TTR mounts make that power much less spooky. Enjoy!!

Do it. I wish I had more commute so I could drive my SS. I have 19K on an 08 and am sad that a 09 is going for a meer 14K. Means mine is likely more like 12,9.
Guess I'll run her into the ground.

If you find a way to lower the seat, LET ME KNOW!!!

I think that's a real good price. I've been watching for basically the same package for a bit and the going rate seems to be 15-18K for '08s and '09s under 30K miles.

Sounds like a real good price. Get the turbo upgrade. What is the in-service date for the vehicle? Check out a GMPP warranty on-line. I got one for half price for my wifes car. May actually be cheaper than getting it certified.

I will look into the gmpp warranty this weekend.

I am torn between this car and an 06 gto with 25k miles from second owner for 16k.

I see you have a gto, which would you rather sit in for two hours each day? how are each in the snow, (with snow tires)?
