got a few questions...
Not to try to out do you Jeff!
Just an illustration of how my wife drops the camera.
We was on the fall road trip with the Gateway Camaro Club and was just getting off highway 51 and heading towards Elephant Rock Park and I got on it and she dropped the camera.Notice how in the upper rpms in second it was losing traction.
Just to think it was maybe only running on three cylinders.

if you want a driving tripod and don't want an uber expensive mount, try these guys out

i have the small one for my point and shoot. I have made it grip onto a square column with the camera hanging off the side and made it grab on to a ceiling fan while swinging.
Just get one of the bigger boys for a video camera, wrap it around your headrest and have it stick out the side of you or something...
I'll be taking my little one to aruba and see how it does hooked on an atv for a bit.

Yep. If you don't have tons of footage like that, you ain't tryin'
Now that we've totally hijacked the original poster's thread... Well we ar showing off HHR SSs anyway.
wow, thanx for all the input guys, on cobaltss.net i would of got responses like y would u even consider auto over stick emo or hhr over cobalt? ur kidding right lol bunch of haters there and they give no actuall good input..and nice vids Jeff, thanx...im still back n forth on the auto or stick option...the stick is more fun, faster, and cheaper, but im worried a few yrs down the road ill be tired of driving stick, so tryn to think for the long run...and on the rear end space quote i was just saying for me to compare space ratio between the HHR and cobalt(sedan) i think the cobalt can hold more with a trunk and all but the HHR would be alot better carring bigger items...idk tuff call..honestly, i like the HHR looks over the Cobalt(sedan) tho all my friends are hatin on me sayn im gonna get a "cute" car lol im sure some of u guys heard that be 4 tho lol
Yeah Shawn, folks here a a little bit grown up (sometimes). The few Colbalt SS's I've seen are nice, and if you like the modern cookie-cutter styling, it's a good option. One thing I noticed is the sunroof goes out over the top, out in the air where on the HHR it goes inside. Plus the Cobalt has a near-rice-wing spoiler. For me, I had to have 4 doors because my boys are older and I don't feel like standing out in the elements holding the door for them.
As for the transmission, I can't drive a stick... Well I can drive a stick, but it would just suck for the daily grind. If I could afford a weekend play car, then yeah.
Good luck however you go, but in any case, lot's of fun helpfull people in this place.

Don't forget the coolness factor...The Cobalt tends to "blend" in with all the other compact 4 cylinder cars..The HHR makes NO mistake on who/what it is!! Dare to be different! Besides, its easier to spot in the mall parking lot!
And/////nobody expects a SUV-Stationwagon-crossover- Van to whoop their butts!! Its almost a perfect sleeper!

i havent stopped driving my ss like a madman since i got it. i work in chicago and live in the suburbs so i go inbetween city and highway driving everyday. i get 19.3 mpg with my auto. also i have never had a bigger cargo space in my life. this is my third car but my other two cars were a cadillac eldorado with a huge trunk and a 95 lincoln towncar that had the biggest trunk that i thought was possible at the time.
