Got my 08 HHR brochure

The SS is in it saying "available late 07"

Is the "no lift shift" what I think it is?

Is the booklet you have a full HHR line, or specifically the SS? The full line book I'm looking at shows the SS on pgs. 14-15 & only mentions a short-throw shifter.

I got the same one, my question is based on the same manual tranny will be in the 08 cobalt and it mentions "no lift shift". On the Chevy HHR web page it mentions "Zero-Lift" shifting. I am thinking these are the same?

They are the same. You don't have to take you foot out of it (gas) to shift.

Ask Hvrod:

He has updates from GM:

“Available late 07” &“no lift shift” = Maybe -->(5V4), only effective on Limited Personalization Option, HHR Appearance Package. Added a footnote 1 that reads
"Requires exterior color (37U) Imperial Blue Metallic, (41U) Black or (67U) Silverstone Metallic." and applies to 1AT46
1LS, 1AS46 1LT and 2LT, 1AT26 1LS and 1AS26 1LT and 2LT.

Which means everything in the 08 Brochure is “Null & Void”,............................................ .........................just in case.

Just a little, cross post humor, to brigthen some frequent flyers' day here

Later,
Mark
