Got a quote from a dealer on Saturday

Sticker price is $25,095. They gave me a price $800 over invoice and said it was "rock bottom" can't go any lower. I told them (and it's true) because it's a company car I have to get 2 quotes. They then dropped the price to invoice, $23,745 + tax and there's the $1,000 loyalty rebate. (so what happened to the rock bottom price huh?). Typical dealer BS.

I hope to get another quote from a dealer a half mile from my office today. Lets see if they can beat it! I'm also trying to see if supplier price is better but I don't think it is.

Opps sorry (again). I didn't notice you posted to the SS section. So disregard.

Turns out that I know the Asst Sales Mgr at dealer #2. Her son is in the same day care class with my daughter and my wife had her son up until he was 18 months old. (she works elsewhere now). Anyway she just loved my wife to death and will get them to do better on the price than I had gotten earlier today. That price was $200 less than the first place. They are also 1/2 mile from my office. I'll know the final price tomorrow.

The moral of the story is to pit 2 dealers against each other (even if you don't know anyone there).
