Got rear ended at a light today.

I was sitting at a stop light on the way to get my son from school and this woman just rolled right into me. She told me not to call the cops, I of course did which pissed her off. She told me she wasn't supposed to be driving! I got a picture of her license plate and she left! She said she had to go pick up her kids. I offered my cell phone to call the school but she declined. I don't know if it was even her car or not but if the cops catch up with her she's gonna have a problem!

meanwhile I'm pissed off, mostly because she left. If they don't find her, I have to pay the $500 deductable, if they do find her my insurance company will go after her or the insurance company if the car is indeed insured and get the money for the deductable.

I understand accidents happen but leaving is wrong. I called and has someone else pick up my son from school. Hole on the left and scratches on the right.

Isn't it a crime to leave the scene of an accident?

Good luck with having the police track her down. Keep us informed as in Florida there are so many uninsured, unlicensed drivers out there it is a big problem.

Should have taken a picture of her too.

I got the guy who hit me and his plate on my cell phone. I made sure that he could not worm out.

I hope they get her.

Shows the kind of people that are taking over our country. It is never their problem as long as they can pass it off on the responsible person.

Quick-thinking, taking a picture of the license plate! I believe that will enable the Police to impound the car--even if they are not "sure" who was the driver (if the lady denies driving)...

Good luck finding her. Don't you just love how some people are so responsible. Also glad to hear you weren't hurt and it's good it happened before you picked up your kids.
