Smile Hello - New Guy Here

Here's my story:

A friend had a Trailblazer SS and decided it ate too much gas. He then bought a HHR Panel LT and did a few mods but it still seemed like it wouldn't get out of it's own way to us. We are both used to stuff with a little more giddy up. So, the rumor of a turbo got his attention and I also thought it might be a neat little car to putt around in and to drive to coffee with the old guys, like myself, that I hang with each morning.

So, we went looking a couple days ago and yesterday he brought home a dark blue SS. We are both very impressed and it actually drives and handles better than we expected. A really neat little car.

I'm going to buy one also as soon as I can decide between red, orange or silver. I've seen the red (liked it) and I'm going to look at an orange one tomorrow. That leaves silver to see. A couple dealers, not real close to me, have silver. One with ebony and the other with grey interior. Both are equipped like I want.

If anyone here has a silver SS and can post a couple pics, I would appreciate it.

Silver is the BOMB in the HHRSS, but I already have a silver car that I will still have, so I went with red. The nice thing about silver, is it looks sharp and shiny even when filthy dirty, just clean the glass and go!!

Thanks for everyone's input.

I have been looking at the GM locator for a couple days but the window sticker option wasn't working. Now it can't find any within 100 miles. Stupid site! If I do go with the silver I will have to decide on the solid ebony or the 2-tone interior. Actually when I think about it, my Vette is orange and my 32 is red/black so silver would at least be different.

The two silvers I found have exactly what I want and I surely want to take advantage of the newest incentives. My bud's gonna croak when he finds out in the am that if he had waited a couple days he could have saved another $1000. Oh well. Stuff happens.

I now have good pics of red, orange and silver to ponder overnight or the weekend. Maybe YELLOW would be good! Thanks again.

Silver FTW. It's more stealthy.
