HHR SS Fuel Pressure

Ok im still confused about what the fuel pressure should be. I installed a Walbro 255 pump and the can absolutely runs great! Of coarse i also installed a K&
N High Flow X-Steam Air filter at the same time so maybe the combination, it really takes off quick now and boost to 20+ lbs fast. However, the fuel pressure gauge on my dash says 50 lbs solid above idle, sometime 53, but never 60 or 70 as some on here state. I also changed the fuel regulator sensor. I will double check by checking the pressure with another gauge at the tap in the front. May the person having 70 it is due to a program?. I would like an accurate OEM pressure spec if anyone knows it.

KOEO (key-on-engine-off)
Should be at least 50psi
If your buggy isn't throwing any 'codes', & it's running great, your a-ok...

Don't even think about 'tapping' the high-pressure side, as your asking for trouble, or even death...

I guess the "book" is wrong then.

Is it possible that the book is in reference to the fuel pump for the 2.2, 2.4 in tank fuel pump, and not the HPFP of the SS?

No, that's why I included the special instructions for disconnecting the HPFP line. See step 2(1) in the green hilite.

The "book" has been wrong before.

Ok, just checking. My fuel pump had 55 PSI on the 2.2 but I don’t know what the i tank pump has for the SS.
Most listings could be generic like the ball joint fiasco
