I ask what the incentives were for April.......She there are no incentives on the HHR SS.............It is a deal breaker for me......

I just checked http://chevrolet.com and for my area, there are no rebates for the SS. Only the LT and LT panel have cash back, $500.

If you go to the website, look on the left hand side and you'll see an entry for Shop Current Offers. Click it and enter your zip code when the page displays, you'll get a listing for incentives for all of the cars then.

You have to check chevy's website constantly when in the market since the incentives change almost monthly. and then decide if you should take that offer or see if next months is better like rolling dice at time. When I got my 2LT I went to the dealer the day after GM sent me a loyality bonus of 1000 back in Jan. If the incentives are low, you are better off waiting a month or two but then you begin to think, why not wait until the 09's come out. Pull a coin out of your pocket and give it flip.

spoke to the dealer today.

there is an incentive for APRIL, for the HHR, (this replaces the MARCH madness cash), $1000 GM loyalty cash for owning another GM vehicle, I think it was 1999 and newer, check with your dealer again, they just came out today....

No rebate means you haggle. The dealer will still get kick backs from the supplier to make a sale happen. Search for the thread listing what people paid and keep those numbers in your head.

You wont know what a dealer will do until you talk with them. Neg. a deal, they'll listen and counter....just stay firm to a realistic goal with the dealer.
