corvairman, nice writeup. Put a radar detector on your shopping list; First thing that I did when I got mine and it clearly saved me at least twice (that I'm sure of; maybe more that I suspect).

I was in the exact same boat 18 months and 32K miles ago. Now that I think about it, I'm still in the same boat. I love this car just like I did back then.
