I can understand some of the young guys who were brought up in minivan car seats watching low budget Japanese cartoons. They are comfortable with vehicles with hoods shorter than they are wide (ever seen a Honda Civic SI? Objectively, with the short hood and fat butt, it looks like a micro minivan). They've never been exposed to classic hot rod styling (chopped top, protruding fenders, running board facias, etc), so perhaps this is foreign to them. To each their own.

bugotto responded to this thread on 3-31-13 and it had shown up on my "new posts" list, so I responded.

Isn't this site about collaboration, regardless of the pretenses? I just enjoyed revisiting Bob Lutz' commentary introducing the HHR SS and appreciated buggotto for bringing it back to the surface. It's all good...
