get rid of the unnessessary (spelling) weight by removeing the back seat, cargo tray and anything else you don't need.... every little bit helps...

The Hahn BSR/PPC Stage 1 tune which is optimized for 93 octane, but will work ok with 91 octane (retards timing) you can see a bunch more info at the 2.0 liter forum. Look at the HP increase at 3500 rpm and at 6200 rpm (about 50-60 WHP gain) you can REALLY feel that. If they eventually revise the rpm limit to 7000 rpm in 3rd (like they do for 1st and 2nd), the 1/4 mile times will get better because you won't need to shift to 4th.

50-60 WHP gain?! Wow! Are you running stock intake and exhaust?

"Are you running stock intake and exhaust?"
Yes, and that is what the SS used for the dyno runs also had. Read the details, the single gear pull is probably most representative in my opinion, since the intercooler likely heats up with just a fan blowing in front of it for the extended runs. Only other mod I have is that I sealed off the area around the perimeter of the intercooler (especially needed at the topside) to force all the air through it at speed. I am not modifying the intake or exhaust or intercooler until I see proven results (as opposed to just more noise). The intake plenum volume may be very important and simply slapping a open air filter on it may yield lousy results.

The BSR tune is REALLY tempting. Having just bought my SS a couple weeks ago, it still feels very quick, and I'm not keen on risking my warranty coverage. But another 40 or 50 hp would transform it from "quick" to "OMG!"

I could be wrong, but I think any gas station that is over 4000 ft in altitude has to sell 93 octane gas as "Super". I see 93 octane all the time in NM, CO, and UT when I'm in the mountains.

Did you really say C-town? Do you have a CB radio in your SS?
Are you as old as me?
