Hhr temperature question

Hello everyone. I just replaced my fan control module and now the fan works when I have the air conditioner on which it did not do before.

I'm sitting in the car with ignition on to keep the fan on as when I turn the key off it does not seem to stay on very long. It's 100 degrees outside and the coolant temperature is 225. Does that seem too hot or is that how these run when it's a hundred degrees outside? Any help or ideas is appreciated.

How old is the Dexcool?
I’d start off with a drain of the old coolant and replace the thermostat, only use the AC Delco 131-158 180 degree
50/50 fresh Dexcool and be sure to burp the system!

Thanks oldblue.
I should have added i took it to dealership who flushed system and put new fluid and delco thermostat. I don't know if the burped it
The temperature reading is the one in the car. I have not tested the actual fluid temperature to see if there is a variance.
At what temperature should a correct functioning fan come on if the ignition is off?
Thanks for any assistance.

The fan should come on at 219 F and once you turn off the ignition and open the door the fan turns off.
Can you post a picture of the invoice , did they put in an AC Delco 131-158 ? Or did they throw in the AC Delco professional $14.00 used car lot version
