I got the SS up to 140.3mph at the Texas Mile last month. That's a standing mile.

Add Front spoiler, Remove ALL appendages, skirting to wheel wells, fabricate a diffuser for the rear undertray. That will put up against the governor, or if it's "chipped" out you should be good for 150+ mph.

All of the above plus CO2 on the intercooler and a meth shot. Yeah its got the GM kit and a HPTuners piggyback. and open exhaust.

Didnt have time to add a front spoiler before the run. but will have one installed. Lower the car and drag radials. serious issue getting off the line.

Also going to remove the front grill and install a formed sheetmetal or plastic for more aerodynamics.

I'm not going for all out top speed[no place around here to pull the trigger on that], but during the winter[any day now] the SS is going under the knife, and I'm putting on a front splitter[ Custom made from Maier Racing] and a rear air diffuser from Stillen. Other than tailights, after the splitter and diffuser, I'll pretty much be done with body mods.
First priority now, is finding and fixing the front end noise, thats driving me nuts. Ordered a Steadman chassis eletronic chassis ears with six leads, and will find the racket soon.
Wish there was somewhere around here within decent driving range to do a mile run for top speed. I can bury mine fairly easy, altho the window glass raises hell, and she gets a liitle light, but not crazy light.
good luck on getting 150-160. Should'nt be real hard to do, with just a few mods. "Moon"

Moon. Do you have pics of the front splitter for the HHR and the rear diffuser?
