I'm with Hyper.

I've been a constant 135 for about 30 minutes through the desert and it was stable , touched up to 140 and kind of lost my taste for it as there is a lot of wind noise and everything gets a little slow motion feeling in the controls, backed down to 125 and it's fine.

It probably had a few more MPH as I my foot wasn't cramed to the floor.

To each his own, but I don't think I want to go end over end in this car at 150.

If I want to go that fast it's a Corvette or something that's made for it.

IMO

145 For a few seconds , Looked down and saw it Kinda scarry, And let off with traffic ahead, seemed to have more , but i doubt i'll ever see it . It was wild.
I would say a 5 speed with the perf. upgrd. will do 150 no problem .
A player needs to go to bonnevile and give us the answer, I wish i could .

I hit 153 and kept it pegged there for about 20 minutes (I wish I could have pulled a 6th gear)

I find it hard to believe that you were able to travel 40 miles or so at that constant speed. I'm calling BS on that one. You can't even do that at bonneville. And your not in Germany. The only possibility, is a track day at Indy.????

I don't know about where you guys live, but it's pretty easy to find 40 or 50 miles of open road out here in the desert.

I agree!

I've been 171 in my 2003 vette z06 and it felt much more stable than HHR SS did approaching 130s....

The SS is surprisingly stable at the top of its speed range. I don't know if the extra rear sway be helps but it feels rock stable above 140.
