moon... US23 from Milan to Grand Blanc at 10:30pm. When your son is being flown to a hospital in a helicopter you dont really care about much, except getting there.

If it could have gone faster I would have gone faster, I kept it pegged and in the red the whole way. I did think the sunroof was going to blow out, because it was not happy. Some of the curves took both lanes to navigate, but the road was clear.
(happy to report he recovered from his injuries)

I'll vouch for that. I think that sound you hear is just more audible turbo spool due to pipes and not a boost leak. You just had to show up my 120 I got on the "short roads".

so 150 is sounding like the magic number. I was just in the U.P of michigan, theres a stretch of road called the Seney stretch, its about 25 miles of dead straight road, I really wanted to peg the gas but it was rainy and I didn't want to chance anything. thanks for the info guys.

Just a side note: one weekend out of the year they should close the road down and let people top their car out. Could create some more revenue for the state, I would pay to do it, sign a waiver and everything, why not? only a few negatives, its only a 2 lane road, and LOTS of wildlife up there.

With the top down, only about 90mph, otherwise you might get sucked out. With the top up it'll do an honest 125mph, oops, wrong type of SS.

I'll just go back to polishing the air cleaner and valve covers now.
