Question How is the front fascia clearance?

Just wondering if that nice new SS fascia is a PIA to keep clear of the bumps and scapes through life. Lots of dips around me, where i scrape my Camaro's front air dam all the time.

And when you pull into a parking space that has a front facing curb do you have to make sure you dont pull up all the way so you dont bump into it or does it clear okay? Those parking lot concrete curb-thingies look like they could seriously crunch that intercooler grille if ur not careful.

Looks pretty low to me, but since I dont live with one (yet) I have no idea. How careful are you SS guys with that front end?

i hear ya on the Camaro scraping issue lol. as for the SS nose, i haven't hit anything yet. i am kinda cautious with it, as i don't have a good sense of the vehicles dimensions yet, like telling exactly how close i am to something just from the drivers seat, but i've come real close to the concrete parking blocks, and i've looked, and it looks like it'd have about 1/2-3/4" clearance over the top of one. only driveway i fear and haven't tested yet is my brother's house, it's steep as hell, and my Camaro REQUIRES like a 45 degree angle to have a chance of not scraping. i'll let you now when i get brave and try it. as for dips, no issues yet, i know of a couple in my town that KILL my Camaro that i might go try, i'm feeling pretty confident so far in the suspensions ability to keep our noses above the pavement.

So far I haven't encountered anything that it has rubbed on. As for parking you just have to be aware of the fact that the nose is low and park accordingly.

I'm also concerned a bit about the low hanging intercooler, that could be an expensive bump.

ever since the first spy photos of the SS, I thought, whoa, that front air dam could be a problem. crunching that is not covered under warranty either
