Yay, I finally saw an SS in the wild yesterday.
I was driving East on 111 thru Hampstead, NH when lo and behold a matching Black SS drives by me going West.

when I was in MI for vacation, A red one passed going the opposite direction. only my 2nd one in the wild

 

only seen mine red 2008 about 3800 miles. drive sacramento, san jose, san francisco. either none in this part of ca. or just miss em. see all kinds of ls & lts

 

Just saw a black one in Canton tonight and a black one ahead of me in Akron coming home from work in Akron. These both were two I have not see before.

 

I saw a red panel ss just like mine at a red light the other day and then realized it was my reflection in the store window.

 

Saw a black SS yesterday from out of state. It had a hood scoop, i'm assuming it was headed to Cedar Point, b/c i've never seen it around before.

 

There is only one other hhr ss i have seen locally, of course his is black like mine

I seen his at the dealership twice getting worked on when mine was there getting fixed

They had a used 2008 ss that was red but it has sat there for a while, not sure if it has something wrong with it or not. I would have thought someone would have bought it by now. They look really good in red.

 

Was it one of those god awful stick on hood scoops you can buy at auto zone for $20 lol?

 

I couldn't tell, I'll just say it wasn't for me....

 

There's about 7 or 8 in my town now. Plenty of LSs and LTs too. I'm seeing more HHRs more and more. Maybe GM is making a mistake with the discontinuation date. But, platforms do have to change.
