all the people that had their ss dyno, how much power do you have now and with what done to it

 

I have no idea why the pictures so small, but if you go into my gallery you will see the GMTU Stage 1, 276.57 WHP & 283.02 Torque, Trifecta tune, 304.29 WHP & 326.31 Torque.

 

I have been all over the internet looking for numbers on the auto SS with trifecta. The only thing that I can find is the new caddy/Buick with the new 2.0 turbo.... But I forgot trifectas numbers...might be on their sight though

So my auto SS tuned would be close to 260/260 to the wheels thru trifecta....not too shabby for an auto tranny

What hp/trq will a stock block handle? Auto drive train?Just wondering what you can wring out before you start blowing things apart.

Was that also with the other mods on both or just on the trifecta tune?

 

Trifecta wakes up the motor.
I don't drive in anything other then that mode and still get 28 to 32 hwy. depending on the speed limit & Everything was on it for both dynos, minus the intercooler,

I was thinking of picking up an SS this spring/summer and was wondering if there's a HP difference between the stock 5sp and auto?
And for future mods, does one transmition handle the HP increase better then the other?

stick 260..auto 235(pure stock)......Add GM upgrade, both get around 290...get an aftermarket tune get 300+ both...both trans will handle that easily...the clutch is the weakest link, along with tires as its hard to hook up with that power..got some breaking into the 400's now. Choice of trans is more of a personal preference, though the sticks are more limited in numbers made. Oh yeah..most the sticks have LSD (limited slip)..Both are great with a tune!
