How is the SS drivability on regular unleaded?
I dont know how you guys are getting into the 30 mpg with the ss! around town i get max 24 mpg and i just went on a trip i went 100 mi at an average speed of 70 and only got 25.7 mpg whats the deal here??
Don't know about in your area, but hi-test is only about 30 cents more per gallon. Even if you refilled a completely empty tank of 16 gallons, it would only be 4.80 more. Hardly worth worrying about. I mean if it was a savings of $10 or $15 maybe worth it.

Slowed down for a red light so that it would be green by the time you got there?
Accelerated so slowly that grandma was compelled to go around you?
Spent any 200 miles stretch (HIGHWAY OR RURAL ROAD) never going above 62 mph EVEN DOWNHILL?
Probably not...... that's the problem. However drive how you want to....it's more fun getting 20mpg.
Check out cleanmpg or hypermiler....stick to the legal suggestions, ignore all the political green this and green that BS. Check out the link that hotrobbob suggested.......I'm still working on a mileage thread that is designed to help people.....just give me a little time.
