Just received a call that I to have a build week of the 23rd of Feb. they seem to think that the 5sp/RPD problem has been taken care of.
So with any luck I'll have my little Red panel with the performance package, sun roof, black/red interior, upgraded radio & sound system about the sametime as yours.

Thanks for the welcome @angelita. I do get to a show in the OC yearly with the Mustang side of my life but bringing the HHR down to the southland for some particpation is definitely in the realm of possibility. I'm eyeing the Solvang G2G in May...love that country down there!
I'm in the Monterey Bay area but lived in the (South) SF Bay Area for many years. Still hang around all over up there as there is LOTS to do, mostly nightlife, compared to where I live.
I'll post plenty of pics once my ride arrives!

I drove up 101 for a conference there last May and took some awesome pix on Highway 1. Great photo ops (see my gallery) and the curves are the best!
We do lots of little things and occasionally shows. Be glad to have you come down--we've had the pleasure of folks like DLVRNIT (Oakland) and of course Bud-Harvey from San Jose.

Can't wait to see how the HHR takes this road, esp. after I install the TT swaybar and get the Stage kit in.
Now if you think driving that road is fun, try pedaling it...
About 8 years ago I biked from Monterey to Morro Bay and it only took a little under a day and a half. Besides the narrow lanes and all the curves, there are A LOT of hills! Not a trip for the faint of heart.
