If they replace the supercharged emblem with the correct one, can I have it for my GTO?

If I can come away with it, I may consider it

Don't just asume anymore. Many insurance companies like to go with used oe reconditiond [as they call them parts].

Some time youy can have a fight on your hands based on what company your dealing with.

I was lucky as the guy who ran me off the road had State Farm [one who likes used parts], But I had a good body man who would not let them use any parts older than my SS was.

I was lucky and did not have a fight but he told me of some where they fight him to the bitter end.

My repair man even got one of my wheels replaced for me that just had a small ding from a rock in the accident. I figured I would have a fight on that one.

I hope you didn't loose the 55 horses that the supercharged model is lacking compared to the turbo!

Geeze, please tell me the body shop wasn't at the dealership...... That would make the whold thing worse...

As far as parts, It got "wrecked" (hit a mattress flying out of a pickup bed) at 6 months old. The adjuster wanted to use "used" parts. I told him that no panels or parts would be repaired and only new OEM parts would be used. No if's, and, or buts. They may push for it, but unless it's your insurance and you want to say yourself a small amount of $$$, then they have to do as you wish. Factory original OEM specs with OEM parts.
