Inquired @ my selling dealer about an SS yesterday

If you are referring to Buff Whelan Chevy on Van Dyke, and it was a black/ebony 5-speed... then I'm the someone who beat you by 15 minutes. Sorry, but glad to hear everything worked out for you.
I may have saved you the headache of dealing with these problems.

No worries, at that point I was still waiting on the check from the insurance (for my totaled car) and was just going to try the SS to see how it was. I ended up with an auto so the wife can drive it if she needs to. It is Victory Red with the Red/Black interior. The kids love the interior and think it looks like a race car. I even found matching booster seats.
What happened with the Sunroof? Is it ok now?
Where man, where? I needs 'da specifics. I could do an '08 GM exec program SS for sure, but then again I bet the program cars are mostly automatics.
5-speed manual SS w/ limited slip is all I want, in Silverstone Metallic w/ ebony cloth interior. No other options whatsoever. Okay, Brembo brakes would be nice but likely a rare find. Whatever dealer can provide this combo either new or exec program car can expect a clean and smooth one day deal, clear title on my '07 for trade, credit score is about the highest you can have. Deal has to be stone cold killer tight, though.

I found a few on Autotrader two weeks ago.
Ther also is a Imperial Blue one in Salem Ohio [can't remeber the dealer name] that has been on E bay twice. It was a 5 speed.
Look around and try different searches on the internet. Even google the color. Red and Black are the eaiest to find but one of the other colors come up from time to time. Also let the dealer looka as they can get the window sticket to know what it has. I looked so much two weeks ago I could tell what options it had by the price. I just could not tell the interior color.
If you can't be flexable just pay the price and get a 09. IF you can work on an option or two you can get a good buy now.
The limited slip is not going to easy to find.
