Very nice , first off inspect the LCA’s, are they aluminium? Are they the correct GM with the proper ball joints?
and then the front brake rotors, if Brembo they should be 12.5 inches in diameter, but the non Brembo, they should be 11.6 inch , I’ve seen a couple with the incorrect 10.6 inch LS/LT rotors, the parts guys are eager to sell what they have in stock and sometimes the PO purchases the wrong parts, drilled and grooved rotors that are supposed to fit!
This will tell you a lot about the condition of the engine. You'll then have a base line to compare future tests to. You'll find out if the intake valves are mucked up. Be sure to read my post #6 in that thread before you start.
Overheated on the drive home. Stopped to get dexcool. Reservoir was empty. Dad left lights on...battery died. (I assume when the cluster goes berserk it's a dead battery)
Had it towed...my dad didn't want to try jump starting it.. Safe and sound in the back yard now. Hoping its just low on coolant and not something else.
