just got insulted
i took the car into the dealer to get serviced. a sales man came up and asked if i wanted to sell. i told him to appraise it and the other ss just to see.
mine being a 08 with 28k they told me 13
dads being a 08 with 7k they told me 13.5
both cars are in really good condition
told them good luck finding one for that price

If they offered you more they would not take as much off the car you would buy.
Also accept the fact the SS will not gain value for at least 25 years unless there is some crazy deamd crated for them in the future.
Kit it clean and drive it 10 years and you will see the value out of it that way. Buying new cars no matter what one is one of the of the poorest investments anyone can make regardless of brand.
I didn't buy my SS to sell it. I bought it to drive it. And drive it. And drive it.
When it's done - and I mean DONE - it'll be worth about $1.98.
Of course, between now and then, I will take great care of my favorite ride, will make sure it looks showroom-new, that the oil is changed regularly, etc., etc.
I cannot afford to purchase a car that appreciates in value, so I'll make do with the SS.

Prices are down on most trades today. Even many BMW models. They just cost more to begin with.
Times are tough for dealers and many can get low mileage hight turn over cars they can get in and sell quick A dealer wants a car as short of a time as possible.
