In the early ‘70’s the first car I owned that I could legally drive on the road was a ‘65 Ford Fairlane. I rarely ever locked it when I would park it somewhere but on one occasion that I did bother to lock it while at work I came out to find the drivers side door handle and the lock busted beyond repair and the drivers side window and vent window broken.
I had an FM/8 track deck in the car and they had tried to remove it but I had it bolted in with carriage bolts with nuts under the dash, either they couldn’t figure it out or ran out of time to grab it.
They did get an 8 track box with around 20 home recorded tapes in it. I don’t know the value of that many homebrew tapes and I don’t know anyone who would have bought them anyway, most of them came from the .99 cent bin and I just recorded over them, but the case was worth 15 dollars. I really wished I had left the car unlocked that day. It cost more for glass than the value of the things they took and tried to take.
Back then I worked part time at a body shop so fixing the tin and painting it was easy enough.

I deal with Schram daily.
As far as blending, saying there is repair time where it's pushed in around the handle, I'd write to blend the rear door as you'll be spraying base to the edge of the panel after repair and prime. I'd write it as such if black, not worth the risk to me.
